Corporate Business Card Design
Here is the front of my corporate business card design, I chose a less pigmented shade of blue due to it looking more professional and as a reference to the consistent use of blue throughout my work for this project.
I made sure that it clearly stated who I was and what I do before anything else, hence the size of the font and made sure that it was clear and easy to read, so I spaced out the letters in my name to make everything look less messy and simpler to read from a distance.
Keeping close to home, I chose to include a moon\ sun symbol to tie the design into my project that includes images of the moon quite frequently- incorporated into character designs as well as letter stamps featured throughout my sketchbook and board work for my FMP.
As for the back, I wanted to keep it simpler than the front, so I didn't choose to include the moon symbol again or anything excessive. I wanted it to solely show the information needed and to keep the design constant- hence the repeat of the pattern from the front, still keeping it subtle as to not distract from the point of this side- the contact details.
In the end, I decided to simplify the design and combine the front and back to create a singular sided business card.
