Print Making Workshop

We began by collecting images of our interests that we had also included in our sketchbooks.
I had done a few pages about my interests in tattoos and nature, so I combined the two;

I then traced my design on to tracing paper and used that as a base for when I cut it out of the lino with tools;

We were then advised to include a lino artists work, so I included parts of pre-existing work that worked into my theme of nature;

I was then ready to start printing on black paper, brown, white whichever I felt would match the wide range of colours that were available to be applied using rollers;

An artist for us to consider incorporating and some of his work;

I enjoyed this workshop because I was able to try something new, I now have a basic understanding of new techniques to apply to my work, if I want the visual effect of a repeated pattern on whatever texture/materials that I may want or need and I find this useful information.
